The Mythsagas (or “fornaldarsagor) is the most common name for Norse Sagas whose content, in contrast to the more historic Kings and Clan Sagas, is largely fictional. They take place all over northern Europe, often far back in ancient times and have strong supernatural elements. They have close links with Norse mythology.
